Personalized Virtual Tutoring for Grades 1–5

These 5 or 10-session tutoring packages are built for students entering Grades 1–5 and focus on developing strong math foundations through live, one-on-one instruction. 

Give your child the support they need to catch up, or the confidence to leap ahead. Each program is fully personalized based on your child’s current skills and learning goals.

Choose the Reinforce path to revisit and strengthen essential concepts from the previous grade, or the Hop Ahead path to preview and practice next year’s curriculum and gain a head start.

Every session is designed to build clarity, confidence, and lasting momentum.

Ideal for students who need extra support to solidify the math skills from this past school year before advancing.

2. Hop Ahead Program
Perfect for learners who are ready to get ahead and want to explore the concepts they’ll encounter next year.

Each program is fully customized to your child’s grade, needs, and learning pace.

Summer Schedule

Each program runs from June 16 to August 11. Sessions are booked at your convenience based on availability. 

Available: Monday through Saturday

June 16–26: 8:00 AM to 7:45 PM CST

June 27- August 11: 10:00 AM to 7:45 PM CST

Grade-Level Focus

Each program is tailored to the math your child will encounter next year. Click below to view each personalized learning plan:

  • 1st Grade: Build number sense with teen numbers, identify 2D and 3D shapes, and prepare to add and subtract to 100 using visual strategies and manipulatives.
  • 2nd Grade: Strengthen place value, regroup to add and subtract, tell time to the nearest five minutes, and count collections of coins.
  • 3rd Grade: Master multiplication and division facts, explore equal groups and arrays, introduce fractions on a number line, and interpret data in graphs and charts.
  • 4th Grade: Work with multi-digit multiplication and division, compare and generate equivalent fractions, convert units of measurement, and explore angles and lines in geometry.
  • 5th Grade: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions, calculate volume, understand place value to the thousandths, and use coordinate planes to graph and solve real-world problems.

Led by Ms. Goodwin, a certified K–5 educator with over 17 years of experience in math instruction, curriculum alignment, and growth-focused learning strategies. Each session is clear, encouraging, and designed to meet your child’s individual learning needs.

You’ll receive a private booking link after checkout. Schedule your sessions when it works for you.

What if we miss a session?

You may reschedule with 24 hours' notice. 

Do you use our school's curriculum?

Yes! Instruction is always aligned with your preference.
We can tailor lessons to match your child’s school curriculum or directly align with your state’s academic standards, such as TEKS in Texas or Common Core in Hawaii.

At Hop Ahead, we specialize in Eureka Math and thoughtfully integrate proven, traditional strategies that strengthen each skill and support deep, lasting understanding.
